Overview

High profile Senior Accountant position with significant exposure to leadership. Successful candidate will have Big 4 experience and the CPA exam or actively pursuing. Top compensation plus long-term incentives. 2+ years of experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Interact with global business leaders, Corporate Accounting and FP&A to comprehend financial performance of the firm and gain insight into the business verticals.
• Assist with preparing financial statements in accordance with GAAP
• Assist business segments with closing out their financial statements, making any necessary journal entries and adjustments
• Ensure an extensive review of financial statement accounts through analyzing, researching and ensuring application of GAAP
• Assist with special projects, analyses and reports
• Participate with teams across the organization to ensure acquisitions and divestitures are accounted for properly
• Provide business segments with accounting guidance as needed, based on transactional activity

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 2+ years of experience in an accounting related role, internal audit, or Big 4 public accounting
• Strong understanding of financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow)
• Proficient experience working with Microsoft Excel
• CPA or MBA a plus
