Salary: $150k – $160k plus 15% bonus


Overview

Plant Controller role is open due to an internal promotion. Partner with the VP of Operations. Lead the Finance activities, including planning, forecasting, and analysis. 7+ years of relevant work experience required. Responsibilities

  • Lead financial planning, forecasting, and analysis for key business units
  • Partner with the Shared Service Center ensuring compliance with US GAAP and corporate policies and procedures.
  • Serve as Business Partner to Business Operations leadership in order to achieve business objectives
  • Perform operational statistical and metrics tracking and comparative analysis of long-term financials, evaluate financial performance and make recommendations to drive reaching business unit objectives.
  • Comprehend accounting, interpret financial reports, and understand key concepts (e.g., cash flow and profit margins) to make sound business decisions to drive strategic choices that align with financial goals
  • Partner with Operational and Business leaders to ensure monthly/quarterly financial forecasts, long term plans and annual budgets are aligned to achieve corporate goals
  • To effectively communicate business results, leverage data mining and other tools to gain a thorough understanding of the detail behind, revenue, expense, profits, etc.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives through timely identification of areas in need.
  • Compile and analyze financial information related to month-end close in partnership with the Shared Service Center
  • Own the review and timely reporting of financial statements
  • Support internal/external audits.
  • Perform special projects as needed

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance / accounting required.
  • 7+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Ability to identify and resolve complex finance and accounting issues
  • Perform off-cycle financial analysis as needed
  • Strong leadership, communication and presentation skills
  • Able to effectively prioritize assignments and meet deadlines with accuracy
  • Proven strategic and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to grasp and resolve complex issues
  • Able to identify innovative solutions to financial or operational business events
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP.
