Overview:

This is a review role, not a preparation role. You'll review complex Federal and State individual and fiduciary returns (1040, 1041) prepared by staff, and serve as the technical point of contact for a client base of high-net-worth individuals and their trusts and estates. The firm is planning for its next generation of leadership and is looking for someone who wants to grow into that role over time.

What you'll do:

• Review Federal and State individual and fiduciary tax returns (1040, 1041)
• Serve as a technical resource for staff and advisor to clients on planning and compliance
• Manage client relationships
• Mentor and develop staff-level preparers

What we're looking for:

• CPA license, or actively pursuing CPA licensure — EA candidates also encouraged to apply
• 5+ years of public accounting experience with a strong review/technical background
• Experience with Federal and State individual and trust/estate returns
• Proficiency with Thomson Reuters UltraTax CS and GoFileRoom, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and QuickBooks
