Salary: $140k – $165k base

KNM is engaged on a newly created Investor Relations Associate role in Central New Jersey. The ideal candidate will have 3–8 years of experience in investor relations, investment banking, finance, investment reporting, or Big 4 technology assurance along with Power BI or Tableau and advanced Excel skills. Responsibilities

  • Divide time between ad hoc analyses, fielding data requests, performing analytics, presenting to the Board, developing reports, and improving processes.
  • Lead transition of investment analytics and reporting responsibilities to a newly created vertical within the team with a focus on assets, performance, and risk
  • Analyze investment data, including portfolio holdings, transactions, and performance metrics.
  • Prepare Board meeting materials.
  • Develop internal reports and dashboards. Partner cross-functionally to ensure accuracy.
  • Assist with the design and implementation of reporting systems and workflow automation.
  • Pull data from financial statements and other sources and to organize, present, maintain.
  • Ensure consistency, streamline processes and improve data quality
  • Fulfill ad hoc data and reporting requests from leadership and stakeholders.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance
  • 3–8 years of experience. Investor Relations, Banking, Finance or Investment Management experience preferred.
  • Experience analyzing and interpreting financial data in an investment reporting, finance, investor relations, or other analytical role.
  • Knowledge of financial statements, investment performance, portfolio analytics, portfolio management platforms and investment data platforms.
  • Experience presenting to Senior Management
  • Experience with data visualization and reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau).
  • Highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience optimizing processes and deploying new technologies and systems.
  • Experience with automation tools to enhance reporting workflows a plus.
  • High level of attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
