Physical Therapist - $75,000 Sign-On Bonus + Up to $25,000 Relocation!

Job Summary:

The Physical Therapist selected for this position will have the opportunity to develop a cutting-edge physical therapy program within our Lifestyle Center. The mission of this department is to emphasize preventative and regenerative medicine, promoting healthy aging and longevity. The Lifestyle Center and Physical Therapy program will feature advanced technology, including a DEXA scan, metabolic exercise testing, resting energy expenditure testing, hyperbaric treatments, stem cell research, and a weight room, among other options.

We are seeking a Physical Therapist who is motivated to elevate their department and the Lifestyle Center to the highest level of excellence for our community and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities:

  • Consulting with patients to learn about their physical condition
  • Assessing and interpreting patient evaluations and test results
  • Creating personalized fitness-oriented health care programs for patients
  • Administering medically prescribed physical therapy treatments to relieve pain and improve mobility
  • Providing educational information about injury prevention, ergonomics, and ways to promote physical health
  • Using hands-on therapy, such as massage, to ease patients’ pain and stimulate healing
  • Advising patients and their families on in-home treatment options and what to expect from the recovery process
  • Documenting patient care history

Fundamental Responsibilities:

  • Perform initial and ongoing physical therapy evaluations according to APTA standards of practice and state standards
  • Document patient progress according to approved medical and facility documentation procedures
  • Assist other facility staff members as needed to provide care and create a clean, orderly, and effective environment for rehabilitation and physical therapy
  • Evaluate mobility, strength, and current level of patient function, setting goals to improve these areas in a realistic and attainable manner

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Graduate from an accredited university with a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree
  • Possess up-to-date knowledge of treatment practices
  • Ability to write professional-level reports and correspondence
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
