Position Overview:
As a Family Practice Nurse Practitioner, you will deliver advanced primary and specialty nursing services. This role involves conducting patient assessments, developing care plans, and promoting healthy living habits. The ideal candidate will see at least two patients per hour during patient-facing time and will work closely with the team to support the organization's mission, vision, and values. Compliance with all policies, procedures, and healthcare regulations is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive physical exams and patient assessments.
- Document medical histories and symptoms.
- Develop and contribute to patient care plans.
- Order, interpret, and manage diagnostic tests.
- Monitor and operate medical equipment.
- Diagnose health conditions and prescribe treatments.
- Administer medications and other therapies.
- Detect changes in patient conditions and adjust care plans accordingly.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, patients, and families.
- Educate patients and families on managing and preventing illnesses and injuries.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree from an accredited nursing program.
- Current licensure in Massachusetts.
- Board certification from either ANCC or AANP.
- Prescriptive authority in Massachusetts.
- Proven experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner, with a focus on primary care.
- Strong knowledge of computer-based data management systems, medical records, and interview technology.
- In-depth understanding of federal and state regulations, including HIPAA and OSHA.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in disease prevention practices.
Compensation and Benefits:

Base Salary: $100,000 to $125,000 annually (USD).
