Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) to join our team. The BCaBA will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to deliver high-quality applied behavior analysis (ABA) services. This role involves creating and implementing behavior intervention plans, monitoring progress, and supporting clients with developmental or behavioral challenges in achieving their goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development, implementation, and evaluation of individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
  • Conduct assessments, including preference assessments and functional behavior assessments, under BCBA supervision.
  • Collect, analyze, and report data to track client progress and evaluate treatment effectiveness.
  • Provide direct ABA services to clients, focusing on skill acquisition and behavior reduction strategies.
  • Train and support behavior technicians and caregivers in implementing ABA strategies and interventions.
  • Collaborate with the supervising BCBA and other team members to ensure the highest quality of care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including session notes, progress reports, and treatment plans.
  • Stay updated on best practices and industry developments in behavior analysis.

Qualifications:

  • Certification as a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
  • Bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, or a related field (required).
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental or behavioral challenges, such as autism spectrum disorder (preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of ABA principles and data collection methods.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently when necessary.
