Position Overview:

A physician-led health and wellness clinic in Gillette, Wyoming, is seeking a skilled Pain Management Physician to join its team. This role offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive pain management solutions while collaborating with a multidisciplinary medical team. The position allows for both traditional and innovative treatment approaches, including direct patient care, interventional procedures, regenerative therapies, and emerging medical research.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients with chronic pain conditions, utilizing medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests.
  • Diagnose the source and cause of chronic pain and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Prescribe and manage medications to alleviate pain while monitoring for side effects and adjusting regimens as needed.
  • Perform interventional procedures, including nerve blocks and epidural injections, to manage pain effectively.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including surgeons, physical therapists, and psychologists, to provide comprehensive care.
  • Educate patients about their pain condition, treatment options, and self-management techniques.
  • Regularly evaluate the effectiveness of treatment plans and make adjustments based on patient progress.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Stay informed about the latest research and developments in the field of pain management.
  • Contribute to the education of medical students, residents, and healthcare professionals.
  • Adhere to all relevant medical and ethical standards, including compliance with laws and regulations governing pain medicine practice.

Qualifications:

  • Medical degree from an accredited institution.
  • Completion of a pain management fellowship program.
  • Board certification in Pain Medicine or a related specialty.
  • Active Wyoming medical license or ability to obtain one.
  • Active DEA certification or ability to obtain.
  • Strong problem-solving, diagnostic, and clinical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to continuing medical education and professional development.
  • Compassionate and patient-centered approach.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Salary: Competitive base salary with performance incentives.
  • Sign-On Bonus & Relocation: $120,000 bonus upon start date.
  • Health Coverage: Employer-sponsored health insurance (Cigna), vision, and dental, with low deductibles and out-of-pocket costs.
  • Additional Insurance: Disability, life insurance, cancer coverage, accident policies, and hospital indemnity.
  • Retirement Plan: 401(k) with a 6% employer match.
  • Paid Time Off: 6 weeks PTO, 6 paid holidays, 7 sick days.
  • Education Allowance: $5,000 and 5 days for continuing education.
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.
  • Malpractice Insurance: Employer-provided coverage ($1M/$3M).
