A well-established behavioral health program in Hershey, PA is seeking passionate Behavioral Health Technicians (BHT-ABA) to support students with autism in a structured, supportive setting. This opportunity is perfect for someone who wants to make a lasting difference in the lives of children while working on a scenic, 18-acre campus under the guidance of experienced behavioral professionals.


As a BHT-ABA, you’ll implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), assist with daily living skills, and contribute to a collaborative team committed to helping students thrive.


Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver ABA-based support in school and community settings
  • Implement treatment plans and IEP goals with fidelity
  • Collect and document behavioral data and session notes
  • Support clients with daily living activities, including self-care and swimming
  • Maintain positive, ethical, and professional relationships with clients and families
  • Receive and apply coaching to support professional growth
  • Use trained crisis intervention strategies as needed
  • Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities


Ideal Candidate Qualifications

  • High school diploma required
  • Prior experience working with children
  • Crisis intervention training (or willingness to obtain)


Preferred

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related field
  • Experience supporting individuals with autism, particularly using ABA strategies
  • Current First Aid/CPR certification
  • At least 1 year of experience in a school or human services setting

Schedule & Setting

  • Year-round role with full-time and part-time opportunities
  • Monday–Friday schedule aligned with the school program calendar
  • Additional training hours required during scheduled breaks
  • Position involves physical activity including running, lifting, kneeling, and direct client engagement
  • Candidates must be comfortable using protective equipment when required and traveling locally if needed
