Position Overview
The Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) works directly with students with autism within a school-based educational setting. You will implement individualized behavior plans and IEP goals using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies.
Responsibilities
• Provide direct classroom support to students with autism
• Implement ABA-based treatment plans and IEP goals
• Collect and document behavioral data accurately
• Support behavior regulation, communication, and social skill development
• Collaborate with Behavior Consultants, teachers, and school staff
• Participate in ongoing supervision and professional development
Qualifications
• High school diploma required
• Experience working with children preferred
• Interest in behavioral health, ABA, psychology, education, or human services
• Ability to remain patient, structured, and professional
• Ability to pass required background checks and clearances
