Multi-Site Pediatric Therapy Organization


Overview

A well-established, mission-driven pediatric therapy organization is seeking a Regional Director of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to provide strategic clinical leadership across multiple outpatient therapy centers. This role oversees clinical quality, supervision, and consistency of ABA services across up to 12 locations, supporting strong outcomes for children, families, and clinical teams.

The Regional Director will partner closely with clinical and operational leaders to ensure medically necessary, ethical, and high-quality ABA services while fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented clinical culture.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide regional clinical leadership and oversight for ABA services across assigned centers
  • Supervise, mentor, and support BCBAs and BCaBAs, including individual and group supervision
  • Develop and deliver training and professional development initiatives for clinical staff
  • Lead clinical performance management, coaching, and professional growth planning
  • Ensure assessments, treatment plans, and documentation meet medical necessity, payer requirements, and ethical standards
  • Monitor treatment integrity, data collection, goal progress, and documentation quality
  • Drive consistency in clinical practice, outcomes measurement, and quality standards across locations
  • Collaborate with operations on staffing models, caseload management, and center growth
  • Participate in utilization reviews, internal audits, and quality assurance initiatives
  • Support implementation of evidence-based practices and standardized clinical protocols
  • Serve as a clinical resource to families, staff, and interdisciplinary partners
  • Maintain working knowledge of applicable state/federal regulations and BACB ethical standards
  • Foster a positive, collaborative, and mission-aligned clinical culture


Qualifications

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or related field
  • BCBA or BCBA-D credential in good standing
  • Eligible for applicable state licensure/certification
  • 5+ years of experience delivering ABA services (pediatric/autism experience preferred)
  • Prior leadership or multi-site supervisory experience strongly preferred
  • Strong expertise in supervision, treatment planning, and ABA service delivery
  • Solid understanding of medical necessity, payer requirements, and documentation standards
  • Excellent coaching, communication, and leadership skills
  • Ability to travel regularly within the assigned region

Work Environment & Travel

  • Hybrid role with regional travel to multiple outpatient pediatric therapy centers
  • Combination of on-site clinical leadership and administrative responsibilities


Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to model and implement de-escalation strategies
  • Ability to lift or carry up to 30 lbs
  • Ability to work in varied physical positions, including floor-based, play-centered environments
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic pediatric clinical setting
