A rapidly growing events business is looking for a Sponsorship Sales Manager to join its to grow their remote sponsor sales teams. Along with a competitive salary (depending on experience), you will also receive a great commission structure.
You will have a background in B2B sales, with a preference for high-activity, and experience in high-velocity sales. This will lend itself well to people in Delegates & Sponsorship Sales already but will also suit Recruitment Consultancy looking for a change of sector into Events Sales.
Due to the significant growth, there will be opportunities for progression and support in so doing for the right individuals. They have a market leading proposition, platform, and they are a remote-first set up.
As a Sponsorship Sales Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and implementing a global strategy to drive business growth.
- Identifying and evaluating potential partners based on their alignment with clients target markets, globally.
- Negotiating partnership agreements and collaborating with legal and finance teams to ensure compliance.
- Cultivating and managing relationships with key partners, serving as the main point of contact.
- Working closely with internal teams to develop joint marketing initiatives and maximise partner visibility.
- Tracking, analysing, and reporting on partnership performance, including revenue growth and customer acquisition.
- Detecting and capitalising on new business opportunities through partner collaboration.
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and competitor activities.
We’re looking for a Sponsorship Sales Manager with:
- Prior experience in a similar events sales role with experience.
- Proven track record in identifying and securing successful partnerships.
- Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to think strategically and analyse market trends.
- Results-oriented with a focus on driving revenue and achieving targets.
- Exceptional organisational and project management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally with internal teams.
- Willingness to travel internationally as required.
