Product Marketing Manager
Climate X is building the operating system for circular textiles—certifying design-for-disassembly, Cradle-to-Cradle materials and technologies such as Stitchlock, Dualcycle and Lifeguard so apparel, interiors and mobility brands can close the loop at industrial scale. As our first dedicated Product Marketing Manager you will turn that technical edge into category-defining demand, making circular the default choice rather than a niche experiment. Your work will decide how fast the industry actually changes.
Performance Objectives
- Own positioning and messaging for our certification platform and three core technologies so that 70 % of target brand and mill decision-makers can articulate our unique value within nine months.
- Launch two new circular-material GTM campaigns in 12 months that generate a qualified pipeline covering 3× our current annual revenue run-rate.
- Build and maintain a competitive intelligence system that surfaces three actionable insights per quarter, directly informing product roadmap and sales enablement.
- Create a repeatable content engine (case studies, LCA summaries, webinars) that doubles organic inbound volume from sustainability and sourcing teams within 18 months.
- Equip a two-person sales team with battle cards, ROI calculators and objection-handling playbooks that raise win-rate on enterprise deals by 25 %.
- Establish pricing and packaging experiments that improve average contract value 15 % while remaining accessible to mid-market mills.
Environment & Resources
You report directly to the founder/CEO in Siselen, Switzerland, and work with a five-person team of material scientists, designers and commercial leads. You will have full ownership of a modest but flexible marketing budget, access to our LCA and certification data, and the freedom to choose tools (HubSpot, Webflow, LinkedIn, industry events). Early-stage means you ship, measure and iterate weekly.
Essential Qualifications
- Proven track record launching B2B products in textiles, materials, chemicals or industrial sustainability—ideally with measurable pipeline or adoption results.
- Ability to translate complex technical claims (DfD, recyclability rates, carbon data) into crisp, credible stories that buyers trust.
- Hands-on experience running integrated campaigns (content, events, digital, partnerships) with limited resources and high accountability.
- Comfortable building the first playbooks, dashboards and processes rather than inheriting them.
- Fluent English plus German or French; willing to travel within Europe to mills, brands and trade shows.
Role Selling Points
- Shape an entire category while it is still being defined—your work becomes the industry standard.
- Direct line to founders and scientists; every insight you generate can change the product the same week.
- Mission with commercial teeth: circular textiles that actually scale, not just stories.
- Swiss-based, globally relevant, tiny team with outsized influence on fashion, interiors and mobility.
