This role is for a compassionate Medical Customer Service Representative focused on supporting healthcare partners by guiding patients through their medical bills and financial responsibilities. What You'll Do:

Patient Communication: Serve as a key point of contact, taking inbound and making outbound calls to compassionately guide patients through their outstanding medical balances.

Problem-Solving: Utilize established procedures and call scripts to resolve patient accounts, including setting up payment plans, accepting payments, and documenting all conversations.

Financial Assistance: Assist patients in determining their eligibility for financial assistance programs or bank loans.

Compliance: Fully comply with all federal and state regulations, including HIPAA and Medicare Fraud, Waste, and Abuse policies.
Qualifications & Experience:
- A minimum of one year of previous call center or related customer service experience.
- High School Diploma/GED.
- Proficiency with PC-based applications such as Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to handle a variety of situations with a compassionate and non-threatening approach.

Preferred Skills:
- Experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, HIPAA, Medicaid, Medicare, Insurance, and FDCPA.
