Senior Business Development Manager - FTC

 

The Client

 

Our client is in the fintech space and they employ across Asia Pacific, North America, Africa and UK & Europe.

 

Role Purpose

 

They are currently looking for a driven and proactive Senior Business Development Manager to be responsible for generating and increasing opportunities with new clients for their key product.


You will be working closely with the Head of Business Development, other Senior BDMs, BDMs and the Training Team. You will be tasked to find and manage new relationships of potential new clients and upsell the company products. You will be a natural at building strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, ensuring the client sees the value the company can bring in a strategic partner essential to the growth of their business.

 

Your objectives and responsibilities will focus on…

 

  • Uncovering new sales opportunities and potential relationships
  • Lead the development, implementation and adoption of the full suite of sourcing products including Mortgage and Protection products
  • Collate and analyse monthly forecast reports
  • Support the delivery of new and enhanced product features and propositions
  • Own commercial negotiations and ongoing revenue forecasting
  • Ability to identify potential additional revenue opportunities
  • Act as an ambassador for the company in meetings and communications with clients


To be successful in this role…

 

  • Core experience working within financial services (ideally Mortgages) in an equivalent sales or account management role
  • An understanding of IFA practices and technology requirements as well as trends and issues
  • Willingness to travel - this position will require you to attend events and visit clients nationwide
  • Excellent communication and verbal presentation skills
  • Client focused with strong influencing and negotiation skills
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues
  • Self-motivated with evidence of developing great working relationships with clients/prospects
  • Ability to achieve results and work in a constantly changing environment
  • Organised and methodical in your approach
  • Awareness of the company competitors and their service offerings
