The Commercial Sales Executive will play a critical role in the growth of our business by identifying and engaging with potential accounting firms and businesses, nurturing relationships, and closing sales deals. This is a high-impact position where you will be expected to meet sales targets, contribute to the development of new business strategies, and represent the company at a high manor. We are creating the next generation of tax filing software with our cloud-based solution called Tax-scribe Pro. As a Commercial Account Executive, your role will be pivotal in transforming how accounting firms and businesses manage their filing of business taxes. The ideal candidate will possess both a sales and technical background that enables them to drive new business opportunities at the client's Finance and Tax functional business levels as well as with their IT counterparts.
Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy Development: Collaborate with leadership and marketing teams to define and execute sales strategies that align with business objectives.

Lead Generation: Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through a variety of channels, including cold calls, networking, inbound inquiries, and strategic outreach.

Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in the tax and accounting space, developing a deep understanding of their needs and offering tailored consulting solutions.

Sales Presentations & Proposals: Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to potential clients, clearly communicating the value of our services and how they meet client needs.

Negotiation & Closing: Lead negotiations and work to close deals, ensuring the terms of agreements align with client expectations and company objectives.

Sales Reporting: Track sales activities, revenue generation, and progress towards targets using CRM tools. Provide regular updates to management and make data-driven decisions to optimize sales efforts.

Market Research: Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to identify new opportunities and refine sales approaches.

Customer Satisfaction: Ensure a smooth transition from the sales process to account management, ensuring clients are satisfied with the solutions and services provided.
Key Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Commercial Sales Executive in the tax and accounting software space.
- Strong understanding of B2B sales cycles, lead generation, and closing strategies.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and engage C-level executives and other key decision-makers.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with clients.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Experience using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) to track sales activity and progress.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced and evolving environment.
- A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
