Overview

A rapidly growing fintech company in the recurring payments ecosystem is hiring an Account Executive focused on driving new business for a payments recovery solution. This role is responsible for helping subscription based businesses recover failed transactions and retain recurring revenue.

The company has built a modern platform designed to help merchants improve payment performance and recover lost revenue across subscription and digital commerce environments. As adoption continues to grow, the company is expanding its sales team with an experienced hunter who can open new relationships across the payments ecosystem.

This role is ideal for a seller who thrives on building pipeline, developing new accounts, and closing strategic fintech deals with merchants and technology partners.


What You Will Do

• Drive new business for a payments recovery and revenue optimization platform

• Prospect and build pipeline with merchants, payment leaders, and fintech partners

• Run consultative sales cycles focused on failed payment recovery and authorization optimization

• Partner with internal leadership and fellow sales team members to expand market presence

• Manage the full sales cycle from outbound prospecting through contract close

• Work with prospects to identify revenue leakage from failed payments and present platform solutions

• Maintain pipeline visibility and opportunity tracking in Salesforce

• Represent the company at major payments, fintech, and ecommerce industry events

This role primarily sells into companies with recurring revenue models and complex payment environments, including:

• Subscription based businesses

• Digital commerce brands

• Merchants with large transaction volumes and recurring billing models

• Companies seeking to improve payment approval rates and reduce failed transactions

The company is seeking a consultative hunter who understands the payments ecosystem and can develop new relationships with merchants and fintech partners.

Strong candidates may come from:

• Revenue recovery or payment optimization technology providers

• Subscription billing or subscription management platforms

• Payment infrastructure or merchant services providers

• Payment consulting organizations focused on approval rates and payment performance

• Fraud, chargeback, or dispute management platforms

• Fintech companies selling into ecommerce, subscriptions, or payments teams

The ideal seller understands how payment infrastructure works and can translate technical payment challenges into measurable revenue recovery outcomes.

Location

Remote within the United States.

East Coast locations such as New York, Atlanta, or Florida are ideal but not required.


Travel

Approximately 20 to 30 percent travel, primarily for industry conferences and key customer meetings.


Compensation

• Base salary range: $125,000 to $175,000

• Most hires are expected to land between $140,000 and $150,000 base salary

• On target earnings expected to range from approximately $250,000 to $300,000 depending on performance and experience
