Job Title: Territory Equipment Sales Representative - Massachusetts
Residential and Commercial Heating Oil and HVAC Equipment Sales
Position Overview:
The Territory Representative is responsible for the sale of HVAC and oil heating equipment, including residential heating, A/C units, water heaters, oil tanks, and generators.
Position Description:
- Handle inbound calls, capture lead information, and convert qualified prospects into new customers.
- Follow up on sales through the call center.
- Conduct on-the-road prospecting and cold calling to establish relationships with residential, small business, and community organizations.
- Manage the application process, including credit.
- Maintain a book of business, tracking and following up on leads.
- Monitor and strive to improve closing percentages.
- Utilize proprietary lead management software.

Qualifications:
- Knowledge of heating and air conditioning systems across various manufacturers.
- Ability to analyze HVAC systems and determine customer/prospect requirements, including layout and design of new HVAC systems.
- Bachelor’s degree and/or 5 years of sales experience preferred.
- Available to meet with customers evenings, early mornings, and weekends.
- Experience selling services is a plus.
- Must have a vehicle and a clean driving record for the last 5 years, meeting minimal insurance coverage levels required.
- All potential candidates require a background check and drug screen.
- Personal cell phone with a service plan that covers the designated territory.
Compensation:
Base salary, commission, and monthly bonuses.
