Role: Lead AI Software Engineer (Founding Engineer)

We are working with a pre-seed Deep Tech company that is redefining how the world's largest enterprises understand and evolve their most critical systems, raising one of the largest seed rounds in Parisian history.

They're building an AI-powered platform that makes complex SAP systems understandable and evolvable. By creating knowledge graphs that map entire system architectures, dependencies, customizations, and usage patterns. Defining a new product category for enterprise ERP transformation.

Large enterprises spend billions and many years migrating legacy ERP systems. Using generative AI they automate the hardest parts of data and code conversion, delivering results in weeks rather than years. The company already has design partners with $14B+ and $80B+ in annual revenue, with project budgets in the $30–40M range.

Backed by leading European VCs and prominent fintech/enterprise angels. The company was co-founded by an incredibly seasoned leadership who have experience leading large-scale enterprise AI deployments across Europe and led complex financial system design).

The Role

You will be an early engineer and a true founding team member. You'll own the technical stack, shape engineering culture, and build the product from the ground up — solving challenges at massive scale in a category that doesn't exist yet. Within the first year, you'll help grow the software team to 10 engineers, making this a rare opportunity for both deep technical impact and engineering leadership.

What You'll Do

- Design and build the core platform — interconnecting data, code, and process layers across complex SAP environments

- Collaborate directly with design partners and early customers to scope, design, and deliver high-impact product solutions

- Architect and implement secure on-premise deployments meeting enterprise-grade security, compliance, and data governance standards

- Own the technical stack and ensure it follows modern software development best practices

What We're Looking For

- Strong software engineering background with experience building production systems at scale

- Comfort working across the full stack in an early-stage, fast-moving environment

- Experience with or interest in AI/ML systems, knowledge graphs, or enterprise software

- Ability to work directly with customers and translate business needs into technical solutions

- Entrepreneurial mindset — you want to build something from zero and grow with it
