Sr. Manager, Demand Planning Excellence

What You’ll Do
We are seeking a seasoned professional to serve as the Sr. Manager, Demand Planning Excellence within a global Center of Excellence (COE). This role serves as a process owner and thought leader responsible for driving global process standards within Demand Planning. You will establish and maintain global standards, processes, and systems that support business goals, leveraging data-driven insights to enhance forecasting, alignment, and operational performance. This position plays a key role in advancing transformation, innovation, and digitization efforts while ensuring collaboration across business units.
Responsibilities
• Lead the development of capabilities for short-term, mid-term, and long-term demand forecasting methodologies, processes, and tools.
• Develop and implement global process standards to improve effectiveness and ensure consistency, accuracy, and scalability across the organization.
• Oversee development of processes and capabilities for customer prioritization and supply allocation to improve satisfaction and alignment.
• Leverage advanced data analytics tools to continually refine and improve forecasting models, ensuring data accuracy and relevancy.
• Coach and evaluate business unit teams on applying demand planning principles and best practices.
• Foster collaboration with sales, marketing, supply chain, finance, and operations teams to align demand planning efforts with overall business goals.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives leveraging emerging trends and innovations to enhance processes and technologies.
• Identify risks related to demand variability and develop contingency plans to manage forecast uncertainties.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Operations, or a related field.
• 12+ years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain management within a large and complex organization.
• Strong proficiency in demand planning software such as SAP IBP, Kinaxis, Oracle, OMP, or O9 (SAP IBP preferred).
• Proven leadership experience managing cross-functional teams and driving performance improvement.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
