What You’ll Do:

Relate Search has partnered with a leading industrial manufacturing company in search of a Vice President Of Operations to lead a high-performing, multi-site organization focused on delivering reliable, fast-cycle solutions to its distribution partners. This individual will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of operations, from manufacturing and engineering to procurement and distribution, while shaping the company’s strategic path and driving sustainable performance improvements. This is a President-track role, reporting to the company’s top executive, and represents a rare opportunity to influence the culture, scalability, and operational footprint of a highly respected, growth-oriented manufacturer.

Responsibilities:

• Provide enterprise-wide leadership for operations including manufacturing, quality, safety, engineering, and procurement.
• Develop and implement key operational strategies, KPIs, and continuous improvement initiatives across all sites.
• Build and lead high-performing, accountable plant leadership teams to execute world-class operational standards.
• Ensure 48-hour order fulfillment and operational agility through world-class distribution and build-to-stock manufacturing systems.
• Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and HR to align on growth and operational objectives.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 15 years of manufacturing leadership experience; 7+ years in multi-site operations.
• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Experience in Wire & Cable or related industrial manufacturing sectors.
• Strong track record implementing lean methodologies and digital manufacturing strategies.
• Experience in continuous-flow or fast-cycle manufacturing environments, ideally tied to retail distribution or contractor supply chains.
