Account Executive - Smart Buildings/IoT/Energy Management/Analytics

Pay: 110 - 130K base, with 180 - 220 OTE

One of our clients is making big strides in the BAS space with their cloud platform that connects all building systems into one intelligent platform. The software leverages AI, predictive analytics, and IoT devices to multiply the capabilities of traditional building automation systems; it's data-driven, software focused, and primed for future growth.
We're looking for an Account Executive to share what this company is doing and drive momentum for innovating the way buildings operate. This is an ideal chance to contribute to the expansion of this growing company make an impact in this industry and your career!
What You Will Do:
Build and manage a full sales cycle focused on enterprise building owners and senior leadership, including the C-Suite
Identify and pursue new opportunities through outbound prospecting, networking, and industry engagement
Become an expert on the suite of products and articulate the value of a smart building platform, translating technical capabilities into business outcomes
Conduct discovery, product demos, training sessions, and solution positioning that aligns with customer needs and current building workflows
Collaborate with internal teams (solutions engineering, product, marketing) to ensure a strong customer experience
Close new business and expand relationships within assigned territories or verticals
What We Are Looking For:
3–7+ years of sales experience in building automation, energy management, IoT, PropTech, or related SaaS/technical environments
Proven success managing a value-driven sales process, recommending product solutions that meet customer objectives
Ability to explain software and technical concepts to non-technical buyers
Comfortable working in a high-growth, evolving environment where you help shape the strategy
Ability to plan and implement customer presentations, oversee account profiles, and establish clear and concise messaging to prospective clients.
A self-starter who thrives in autonomy and isn’t afraid to hunt for new opportunities, uncovering opportunities directly with decision-makers or through a partner relationship
Experience navigating complex verticals, such as healthcare, commercial real estate, and GSA
