Purpose


As the Office Support / Marketing Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the smooth day-to-day operations of the office while assisting with marketing and event-related activities across various channels. This dual-function role is ideal for a proactive, detail-oriented individual who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys a mix of administrative and creative tasks. You will support team productivity, contribute to the execution of events and marketing campaigns, and represent the brand and values across all touchpoints.


Key Responsibilities


Office Administration & Team Support

  • Coordinate office activities and maintain effective office operations.
  • Welcome visitors, manage incoming calls, and maintain a professional front-of-house presence, general reception duties.
  • Order office supplies, manage catering and facility needs, and liaise with vendors.
  • Assist in onboarding processes and support HR coordination where needed.
  • Organise internal team meetings, events, and calendar scheduling.


Marketing, Events & Communications

  • Support the coordination of marketing campaign activities, including project launches, community events, sponsorships, and partnerships, by managing logistics and liaising with external vendors.
  • Assist the marketing team in creating and scheduling social media content and campaigns in line with brand and project objectives.
  • Provide support for event planning and execution, including venue research, supplier coordination, basic technical setup, and on-site assistance to help deliver a smooth customer experience.
  • Help ensure consistent brand messaging across internal communications, email campaigns, promotional materials, and presentations.
  • Work closely with marketing, sales, and leadership teams to support the delivery of marketing activities aligned with organisational goals.
  • Assist in gathering and compiling data for marketing and communications reports, helping to evaluate outcomes and inform future activities.


Database & Systems Management

  • Update and maintain CRM and stakeholder databases.
  • Ensure filing systems (physical and digital) are organised and accessible.
  • Assist with document formatting, proofreading, and version control.


Project Support

  • Provide administrative support to project and development teams as required.
  • Liaise with suppliers, consultants, and agents for marketing and operational needs.
  • Assist with reports, minutes, and documentation for internal use and external partners.


Success Profile


Qualifications & Knowledge

  • Degree or diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred but not essential.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with design tools (e.g. Canva, Adobe Suite) and social media platforms preferred.


Experience

  • 1–3 years’ experience in an administrative, marketing, or office support role.
  • Experience in event coordination, property development, or professional services preferred but not essential.
  • Passion and interest in events, marketing, and communications.
