Business Development Manager - Furniture Advisory – Brisbane Based
Our client is a unique end-to-end solution provider with its five business advisories from Workplace Strategy, Leasing Advisory, Design, Furniture Advisory to Construction. They are the exclusive Haworth distributor in Queensland.
Position Purpose
The Business Development Manager Furniture Advisory is responsible for driving new business from the private and public sector to increase the company's market share. This role is responsible for developing and maintaining external relationships with existing & prospects clients as well as key stakeholders such as A&Ds, builders and PMC's.
Areas of Responsibility
- Direct responsibility for driving new business and grow strategic commercial segments like the Whole Of Government.
- Develop solutions/proposals in tandem with the Bid & Design Lead.
- Make sure that each project is executed flawlessly in tandem with the Senior Project Manager.
- Secure weekly meetings with A&Ds and follow up on our extensive seeding program.
- Achieve segment KPIs – Meetings Cadence, Sales Revenue, Margin Targets and Client Satisfaction.
- Identify new opportunities for client engagement.
Qualifications And Experience Required
- 5-10 Years in Commercial Furniture or Flooring sales + account management experience + experience working with A&Ds.
- Bachelor – Business, Marketing preferred.
- Superior Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Experience using Customer Relationship Management Systems (CRM), Dynamics 365.
- Project & Contract Management.
- Business Development and Strategic Planning.
- Public Speaking and presenting.
- Knowledge of the property market / construction Industry a plus.
- Clean driver's license.
- Australian citizens and Permanent Residents only.
This position will report to the Workplace Strategy & Furniture Advisory Director.
