Our client is a fast-growing Australian SaaS organisation delivering cutting-edge digital insurance platforms to insurers nationwide. Known for combining technical depth with a collaborative and respectful culture, the business is scaling its Professional Services function to meet increasing customer demand.

This growth has created an opportunity for a mid-level Implementation Consultant to join a structured, high-performing team of delivery professionals.

Approximately 70% of this role is hands-on configuration and solutioning within a SaaS platform. You will translate business requirements into structured data models, business rules, workflows and financial calculations, while working directly with customers to drive clarity and strong outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure insurance products, workflows and business rules within a SaaS platform

• Translate customer requirements into structured system configuration

• Design and work with relational data models

• Apply financial logic, calculations and validation rules

• Engage directly with customers to clarify requirements and challenge constructively where required

• Contribute to solution architecture discussions as capability grows

• Support data migration and integration considerations

• Collaborate with senior consultants and team leads within a structured delivery environment

Desired Skills and Attributes

• Experience configuring complex SaaS platforms

• Strong understanding of relational data structures and modelling

• Working knowledge of SQL for validation, reporting or data interrogation

• Experience implementing business rules and financial logic

• Confidence working directly with customers and stakeholders

• Ability to drive clarity in ambiguous environments

• Structured thinking with a strong sense of ownership

• Exposure to general insurance, policy administration or claims systems is highly regarded

• Professional maturity, accountability and proactive communication style

Strength in at least two of the following areas will be highly valued: technical configuration capability, customer consulting experience, or insurance domain knowledge.
