Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive site inspections and data collection for lighting, solar PV and BESS projects
  • Communicate site-specific details and constraints to the design team
  • Install and maintain a variety of lighting systems, including LED, track, and decorative fixtures
  • Perform all electrical wiring and conduit work according to compliance standards
  • Troubleshoot lighting systems and resolve issue,s including voltage drops and fixture faults
  • Install and commission solar PV systems and supervise subcontractors on-site
  • Oversee battery storage system installation and ensure optimal integration with solar infrastructure
  • Install and maintain EV battery charging stations at residential and commercial sites
  • Perform scheduled preventative and on-demand reactive maintenance
  • Maintain compliance with all safety regulations, codes, and quality assurance standards


Desired Skills and Attributes

  • Current NSW Electrical Licence
  • CEC/SAA Accreditation for Solar PV and Battery Storage installation
  • White Card and EWP Licence
  • Strong experience in lighting, solar PV and BESS installations
  • Sound understanding of electrical codes, compliance standards, and safety protocols
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical plans and technical documentation
  • Strong communication skills and a professional manner when interacting with clients and teams
  • High attention to detail, particularly during inspections and testing
  • Comfortable working at heights and in variable weather conditions
  • Full driver’s licence and reliable transport
