The Role
They’re looking for a Strategic Marketing & Operations Professional who thrives where structure is still being built, processes are fluid, and every week brings something different. The ideal person is equal parts strategist and operator, someone who can sketch the big picture, then jump into the details without hesitation. Candidates based in Toronto or Montreal are preferred, and bilingualism is an asset, though strong English-only candidates will also be considered.
The Responsibilities
Media Strategy & Planning
- Craft integrated media plans across traditional, digital, and emerging channels.
- Manage and refine budgets to maximize efficiency and deliver measurable outcomes.
- Apply data tools, performance dashboards, and research sources to guide strategic recommendations.
- Establish planning systems that scale across multiple clients as the organization grows.
Operational Foundations
- Contribute to workflow design, process refinement, and operational consistency.
- Identify inefficiencies, propose solutions, and implement improvements that enhance performance.
- Help coordinate timelines, manage deliverables, and align cross-functional contributors.
Client Collaboration
- Partner with senior leaders to support pitches, planning sessions, and strategic presentations.
- Translate performance reports into clear, actionable guidance for clients.
- Assist with onboarding, documentation, and the development of long-term client relationships.
- Spot opportunities for growth, innovation, and operational uplift.
The Requirements
Must-Have Experience
- Minimum 5 years in media planning, marketing operations, or a blended marketing-operations position.
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, optimize spend, and apply industry-standard planning tools.
- Strong analytical mindset with comfort working across data platforms and performance insights.
- Ability to operate confidently in ambiguous, fast-changing settings.
- Genuine curiosity about AI, automation, and emerging technologies.
