The Role


This is a unique opportunity for a motivated and entrepreneurial Business Development Manager to play a key role in the next chapter of the agency’s evolution. Acting as the first point of contact for new business, you’ll develop and execute outbound strategies to identify, engage, and qualify prospective clients. Focused on high-potential verticals such as supplements, women’s health, healthy food and beverage, and clean beauty, you’ll build and nurture a strong pipeline of qualified leads. Working closely with leadership and internal teams, you’ll help craft tailored proposals and remain involved through to closing, ensuring a seamless and consultative client experience.


Responsibilities


  • Develop and manage a proactive outbound sales strategy, identifying and qualifying new business opportunities.
  • Research and target key decision-makers across prospective clients that align with the company’s ideal customer profile.
  • Book and conduct initial discovery calls, collaborating with the existing sales and leadership teams throughout the sales cycle.
  • Partner with internal marketing and media teams to leverage campaigns and content that support prospect outreach and engagement.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of all activities within the CRM, tracking lead progression and pipeline performance.
  • Participate in proposal meetings and closing conversations with senior leadership

Requirements


  • 5–8 years of B2B sales or business development experience, ideally within marketing, advertising, or professional services.
  • Proven success in lead generation, prospecting, and consistently achieving sales targets.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to convey value and insight effectively.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a self-starter attitude and creative approach to achieving goals.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to understand client challenges and position solutions effectively.
  • Experience with CRM and sales engagement tools such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or Apollo.io.
