The Role

The Senior Paid Media Strategist will lead the development, execution, and optimization of multi-channel digital campaigns across Search, Display, and Social platforms. This role requires both strategic insight and hands-on expertise to craft high-performing campaigns that align with client objectives and deliver measurable results. The ideal candidate will be analytical, detail-oriented, and passionate about leveraging data to drive performance. They will play a key role in shaping paid media strategies, identifying growth opportunities, and ensuring campaign excellence from conception to completion.


Responsibilities


  • Plan, execute, and optimize paid media campaigns across Google, Microsoft, LinkedIn, Facebook, and programmatic platforms.
  • Develop integrated media strategies that align with business goals and drive measurable ROI.
  • Write compelling ad copy and test creative variations for continuous improvement.
  • Manage budgets of $30K+/month and allocate spend effectively across channels.
  • Analyse performance metrics and present actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Identify new opportunities for growth and campaign expansion.
  • Stay informed on the latest digital marketing trends and best practices.


Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience managing paid media campaigns, including 3+ years in performance marketing.
  • Proven success in developing and optimizing PPC strategies across multiple platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and spot trends.
  • Experience managing mid-to-large-scale budgets and achieving KPI growth.
  • Proficiency with Google Analytics, Tag Manager, and A/B testing.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex insights clearly.
  • Based in Calgary with the ability to work in a hybrid environment.
