Account Manager | Digital Media & Production | Hybrid in Waterloo | $60k - $72.5k + Bonus


The Role

They are seeking a driven and client-focused Account Manager to join their team in a full-time capacity. This individual will act as the key liaison between clients, internal creative teams, and external partners, ensuring projects are executed seamlessly from concept through delivery. The role requires a balance of relationship management, business development, and project oversight, along with the flexibility to travel and adapt to varying schedules when needed.


The Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, ensuring strong communication and satisfaction
  • Build and maintain long-term, trust-based relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Collaborate with internal teams to scope projects, develop proposals, and secure new business opportunities
  • Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts and increase overall revenue
  • Oversee project timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure successful execution
  • Monitor project profitability, including tracking costs and managing scope changes
  • Coordinate with production and project teams on planning, scheduling, and resource allocation
  • Provide clients and vendors with regular updates on progress, timelines, and requirements
  • Ensure all deliverables meet quality standards and align with client objectives
  • Prepare and present reports on account performance and project status
  • Proactively identify challenges and implement solutions in collaboration with internal teams


The Requirements:

  • 3–5+ years of account management experience in a creative, production, or marketing environment
  • 2–3+ years of direct client-facing experience
  • Post-secondary education in a related field or equivalent professional experience
  • Strong understanding of client service, project management, and budgeting principles
  • Experience supporting business development and identifying growth opportunities
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation abilities
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Skilled in negotiation and problem-solving in a client-focused environment
  • Comfortable working under tight deadlines and evolving project requirements
  • Proficiency with common productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Workspace)
  • Fluency in English (written and verbal); French is considered an asset
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as required
