The Role

The Director, Growth & Demand sits at the centre of a complex, multi-region B2B marketing ecosystem. This role owns the engine that turns attention into demand, demand into pipeline, and pipeline into revenue.

They are responsible for shaping and scaling full-funnel growth programs across a diverse portfolio of brands and regions, while ensuring those programs actually perform, commercially, measurably, and repeatedly. The role blends strategic leadership with hands-on digital fluency, bringing together performance marketing, automation, CRO, SEO, and lifecycle strategy into one cohesive growth system.

Operating within a global marketing structure, they work shoulder-to-shoulder with brand leaders, regional marketers, and sales stakeholders to align strategy, execution, and outcomes, without flattening local nuance or speed.


The Responsibilities:


Growth & Demand Leadership

  • Define and evolve scalable demand generation frameworks that support multiple brands and regions.
  • Set strategic direction for regional growth teams while enabling local execution and experimentation.
  • Act as the connective tissue between global strategy and regional performance.


Multi-Market Digital Strategy

  • Architect end-to-end digital acquisition programs across paid media, email, websites, and owned channels.
  • Balance consistency in structure and measurement with flexibility in messaging and go-to-market execution.
  • Ensure campaigns are built to scale without losing relevance at a local level.


Paid Media & Performance Marketing

  • Guide paid acquisition strategy across search, social, programmatic, and retargeting channels.
  • Focus relentlessly on pipeline quality, conversion efficiency, and ROI.
  • Drive continuous optimisation through testing, insights, and cross-market learning.


Website & Conversion Optimisation

  • Partner with digital experience teams to ensure websites operate as high-performing demand engines.
  • Lead global CRO initiatives using experimentation, behavioural data, and personalisation.
  • Improve conversion rates across regions through disciplined testing and insight-sharing.


Marketing Automation & Lifecycle Programs

  • Design scalable nurture and automation frameworks aligned to buyer journeys and sales priorities.
  • Ensure lifecycle programs accelerate qualification, progression, and revenue contribution.
  • Align automation journeys with brand voice, regional needs, and funnel stages.


Sales & Stakeholder Alignment

  • Collaborate with sales and marketing stakeholders to define lead stages, scoring models, and handoffs.
  • Align growth programs directly to revenue goals and regional pipeline priorities.
  • Act as a trusted partner to senior stakeholders across regions and functions.


Data, Attribution & Measurement

  • Own digital pipeline reporting and performance dashboards across regions.
  • Improve attribution models and data governance to increase visibility and decision-making confidence.
  • Translate performance data into actionable insights for teams and leadership.


SEO & Organic Growth

  • Lead organic acquisition strategy in partnership with global SEO and content teams.
  • Align SEO and content programs with paid strategy to maximise coverage and efficiency.
  • Guide organic social strategy to support audience growth, credibility, and ICP engagement.


Enablement & Best Practice

  • Serve as a centre of excellence for growth and demand practices.
  • Build toolkits, frameworks, and benchmarks to lift capability across regions.
  • Create operating rhythms that support performance, learning, and scalability.


People Leadership

  • Lead and develop a distributed team of growth and demand specialists across regions.
  • Set clear goals, KPIs, and accountability aligned to global revenue objectives.
  • Foster a high-performance, inclusive, and psychologically safe team culture.
  • Support career growth, capability development, and cross-market collaboration.


The Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in B2B demand generation or digital marketing within service-led or hybrid organisations.
  • 5+ years in a senior marketing leadership role, ideally within a multi-brand or shared-services environment.
  • Deep expertise across paid media, automation platforms, CRO, analytics, and lifecycle marketing.
  • Strong understanding of B2B buyer journeys, lead qualification, sales alignment, and pipeline economics.
  • Proven ability to operate across regions, time zones, and cultures while maintaining consistency and momentum.
  • Commercially minded, with hands-on experience owning marketing-attributed pipeline and ROI.
  • Confident communicator able to influence senior stakeholders and cross-functional partners.
  • Track record of building, leading, and scaling high-performing marketing teams.
