This is not a delivery role.

This is a leadership position focused on improving how implementation is done across the business.

The Role:

• This is a senior role within Professional Services, responsible for uplifting the capability, consistency, and performance of a growing Implementation Consultant function.
• You will not be delivering projects yourself.
• Instead, you will take ownership of how implementations are executed across the team, working closely with consultants and team leads to improve delivery quality, reduce variability, and embed scalable ways of working.
• This environment is configuration-led, where consultants work across system configuration, integrations, data structures, and business logic.
• While this role is not hands-on, the team operates in a technically-oriented environment. You will need to have previously worked in an implementation role where you were close to system configuration, scripting, or code-based logic, so you can coach consultants effectively at a detailed level.
• This is not a pure onboarding or project management function.
• To be successful, you will need to have come from a hands-on implementation background yourself and be able to coach consultants at a detailed, technical level.

What You Will Be Responsible For:

• Uplifting the capability of the Implementation Consultant team across technical delivery, judgement, and execution
• Defining and embedding delivery standards, frameworks, and best practices
• Improving consistency and reducing variability across implementations
• Driving utilisation, performance, and team health across the function
• Ensuring delivery aligns to scope, estimates, and commercial expectations
• Partnering with Delivery Managers to improve overall delivery outcomes
• Leading capability initiatives across onboarding, documentation, and technical delivery standards

What They Are Looking For:

• Experience leading Implementation Consultants, Solution Consultants, or Professional Services teams within a SaaS environment
• A background in configuration-led implementations, with exposure to system logic, integrations, or technical delivery environments
• Previous hands-on experience delivering implementations earlier in your career, including exposure to scripting, APIs, or code-based configuration
• The ability to coach consultants who are working in technically-oriented implementation environments
• Experience improving delivery standards, reducing rework, and driving consistency across a team
• A track record of coaching, mentoring, and developing high-performing consultants
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to balance quality, scope, and delivery outcomes

This role is not suited to candidates from purely project management, onboarding, or service delivery backgrounds without prior technical implementation experience.
