A fast-growing Australian SaaS company is expanding its customer delivery function and is looking for a hands-on Delivery Manager to lead complex platform implementation projects for enterprise customers.

The business provides a highly configurable software platform used across the insurance sector, supporting complex workflows across policy, claims, underwriting, integrations, data, configuration and customer operations. This is a strong opportunity for someone who enjoys owning delivery outcomes in a software environment where the work is detailed, client-facing and genuinely business-critical.

This is not a people leadership role, but it will suit someone who can confidently lead cross-functional teams, manage senior stakeholders and bring structure to complex delivery.\

The Role:

As Delivery Manager, you will take ownership of customer-facing implementation projects from planning through to delivery, go-live and post-go-live support.

You will work closely with internal implementation consultants, business analysts, product teams, engineering, QA, customer stakeholders and senior delivery leaders to ensure projects are delivered with strong governance, clear communication and commercial control.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own end-to-end delivery of customer implementation projects across a complex SaaS/platform environment.
• Manage project plans, milestones, risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies.
• Lead delivery governance, stakeholder reporting and regular customer updates.
• Coordinate internal teams across configuration, data, integrations, testing, release and go-live readiness.
• Manage scope, priorities, delivery trade-offs and change requests.
• Build trusted relationships with customer stakeholders and internal delivery teams.
• Identify delivery risks early and drive practical resolution.
• Support UAT, release planning, go-live and post-go-live transition.
• Ensure customer expectations are managed clearly and commercially.
• Work closely with the Delivery Manager Lead to improve delivery consistency and project outcomes.

About You:

You will likely have experience as a Delivery Manager, Project Manager, Implementation Manager, Technical Project Manager or Senior Implementation Consultant within software, SaaS, consulting, insurtech, fintech or enterprise technology delivery.

You do not need to be deeply technical, but you should be comfortable working with technical teams and understanding delivery dependencies across configuration, APIs, integrations, data, testing and release management.

You should bring:

• Experience delivering software, SaaS, platform or technology implementation projects.
• Strong client-facing stakeholder management skills.
• Confidence managing project governance, risks, issues and dependencies.
• Experience working with technical, product, BA, QA or implementation teams.
• Commercial awareness across scope, budgets, change requests or delivery trade-offs.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to create clarity in complex environments.
• A hands-on delivery style, with strong attention to detail.
• Comfort working in a fast-moving, growing software business.

Highly Regarded:

• Insurance, insurtech, financial services or regulated industry experience.
• Exposure to policy administration, claims, underwriting, broker platforms or insurance workflows.
• SaaS vendor, software vendor or implementation partner experience.
• Experience with complex platform configuration, data migration, APIs or integrations.
• Exposure to Duck Creek, Guidewire, Salesforce, FINEOS, Donesafe, SafetyCulture, Steadfast, or similar enterprise platforms.
