About the Company

A growing B2B SaaS company is looking for a senior Head of Delivery to lead its customer implementation function across complex enterprise platform rollouts. The business delivers a highly configurable software platform into enterprise customers. These are not simple deployments or internal technology projects. They are customer-facing SaaS implementation programs that require strong delivery governance, commercial discipline, cross-functional leadership and the ability to scale a delivery function without slowing it down.

About the Role

This role is specifically suited to someone who has led delivery within a B2B SaaS company, enterprise software vendor or software implementation environment. You must have experience delivering platform-based software to external customers at scale.

Responsibilities

• Lead the customer delivery function across complex B2B SaaS implementation programs.
• Manage and develop senior delivery leaders across portfolio and delivery management.
• Own delivery performance across scope, timelines, budget, quality, margin and customer satisfaction.
• Strengthen implementation governance, delivery cadence, reporting and escalation frameworks.
• Improve consistency across delivery methodology, project execution and customer outcomes.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to manage delivery dependencies, product constraints and implementation risks.
• Partner with Sales and Customer Success to ensure smooth handover from pre-sales through to delivery and ongoing customer engagement.
• Improve capacity planning, resource allocation, delivery forecasting and team utilisation.
• Build a scalable delivery operating model that supports continued business growth.
• Coach and uplift delivery leaders, Delivery Managers, Project Managers, Business Analysts and implementation teams.
• Ensure risks, issues, dependencies and commercial impacts are visible early and managed effectively.
• Create a culture of ownership, accountability, customer focus and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Senior delivery leadership experience within a B2B SaaS company, enterprise software vendor or software implementation business.
• Proven experience delivering complex software platforms to external customers.
• Experience leading large-scale customer implementation programs, not just internal technology projects.
• Experience managing delivery leaders, Delivery Managers, Program Managers, Project Managers, Business Analysts or implementation teams.
• Strong understanding of SaaS implementation models, customer delivery, scope control and delivery governance.
• Commercial delivery experience across margin, utilisation, capacity planning, project profitability or delivery forecasting.
• Ability to lead through other leaders and improve delivery performance across a multi-layered team.
• Strong executive stakeholder management, both internally and with enterprise customers.
• Experience working closely with Product, Engineering, Sales and Customer Success teams.
• Ability to bring structure, discipline and consistency without creating unnecessary bureaucracy.

What You Will Need To Be Considered

You will need to have led customer facing delivery within a B2B SaaS, enterprise software or software vendor environment. The strongest candidates will have owned delivery of complex platform implementations into external customers, with responsibility for delivery performance, team leadership, customer outcomes and commercial discipline. This role is unlikely to suit candidates whose experience is primarily in internal IT delivery, infrastructure transformation, general PMO leadership, business transformation, construction, government programs or non-software project delivery.
