Technical Product & Delivery Manager | AI | Montreal | $140,000 - $180,000 + Benefits

The Company

They’re a team of technologists, researchers, and builders reimagining how software is developed in the era of artificial intelligence. Their work sits at the intersection of AI research, compiler optimization, and systems engineering, where ideas don’t just get theorized but rapidly turned into reality. They move fast, think creatively, and experiment relentlessly to design the next generation of AI-driven developer infrastructure.

This is an environment where curiosity fuels progress, and collaboration between research and engineering isn’t just encouraged, it’s expected. Every project pushes the limits of what’s possible for accelerating deep learning models and optimizing large-scale systems.

The Role

The Technical Product & Delivery Manager acts as the connective tissue between discovery and delivery, the person who translates complex technical breakthroughs into tangible, well-scoped, high-impact releases.

This role is perfect for someone who can see the bigger picture while obsessing over the details, aligning customer needs, research insights, and engineering priorities. They’ll bring structure to chaos, clarity to innovation, and speed to execution. The right candidate will thrive in ambiguity, turning cutting-edge research into roadmap milestones that actually ship.

The Responsibilities

  • Define the direction: Shape and own the roadmap for AI infrastructure, compiler technologies, and large-scale model acceleration initiatives.
  • Orchestrate delivery: Coordinate the execution of multiple technical programs, ensuring all teams move toward shared milestones with precision and focus.
  • Translate complexity: Distill research breakthroughs into actionable product goals and engineering deliverables.
  • Align cross-functionally: Work closely with engineers, researchers, and leadership to balance innovation with deliverability.
  • Ensure visibility: Build and maintain transparent backlogs, sprint cadences, and release documentation that clarify what’s being built, and why.
  • Elevate communication: Present technical outcomes and strategic priorities clearly to internal stakeholders, customers, and partners.
  • Bridge customer and product: Gather developer and enterprise feedback to refine usability, scalability, and performance of next-generation systems.
  • Measure success: Define KPIs, track progress, and ensure delivery meets both business goals and technical excellence.

The Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in product or program management within a highly technical field (AI, ML, compilers, infrastructure, or systems).
  • Deep familiarity with modern AI development pipelines, from model training through optimization and inference.
  • Comfort collaborating directly with research or infrastructure engineering teams.
  • Understanding of compiler internals, runtime systems, or hardware acceleration frameworks (GPU, TPU, or similar).
  • Proven ability to turn technical insight into strategic plans and product decisions.
  • Exceptional communication skills, able to navigate between researchers, engineers, and executives fluently.
  • Experience thriving in startup or high-velocity environments where clarity and delivery outweigh bureaucracy.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

Bonus Points

  • Hands-on coding background or developer empathy.
  • Track record of trying unconventional strategies to deliver faster or smarter.
  • Passion for experimentation, and maybe a strong opinion about hot sauce.

A Strong Start

In the first 90 days, you’ll:

  • Map out all active programs and connect them to the broader roadmap.
  • Establish communication loops between research, engineering, and leadership.
  • Take ownership of the weekly technical sync to drive alignment and decision-making.
  • Define measurable outcomes for key compiler and AI infrastructure projects.
  • Guide the next major release from scoping to delivery — ensuring clarity, momentum, and impact.

Why Join

They offer a collaborative, forward-thinking environment where you’ll shape technology that defines how AI systems are built and deployed. The role comes with competitive compensation, health coverage, flexible hours, and access to some of the most advanced computing platforms available. You’ll have the space to grow professionally, experiment with new ideas, and make a real dent in the future of software engineering.

If you’re the kind of person who can bridge the gap between research curiosity and production reality, they’d love to hear from you. This is an opportunity to lead from the center of innovation, where AI, engineering, and creativity collide. Step in, take charge, and help shape the infrastructure behind the next generation of intelligent systems.
