Data Operations & CRM Manager
Gold Coast, QLD
Apply for this job

A fast-growing, data-rich business that has scaled rapidly over the past few years through acquisition and organic growth.

Operating across multiple sectors, the business generates large volumes of customer and prospect data. It has now reached a point where how that data is structured and used will directly impact commercial performance.

Right now, that data is fragmented. It sits across multiple systems, is duplicated, inconsistently structured, and not being fully utilised by sales and marketing.

That is why this role has been created.

This is not a standard Salesforce Admin role. This is a hands-on data role for someone who enjoys taking messy, unstructured data and turning it into something clean, connected and commercially useful.

The Role

You will take ownership of how data is structured, governed and used across the business.

This is a hands-on role. A large part of your time will be spent working directly with data, not just designing processes.

You will:

  • Audit and understand existing data across Salesforce, Marketing Cloud and other data sources.
  • Clean, deduplicate and structure large volumes of contact data.
  • Define data models, taxonomy and naming conventions.
  • Establish governance and control how data is uploaded, managed and accessed.
  • Improve how data flows between systems and reduce manual workarounds.
  • Build reporting that gives clarity on data quality, usability and commercial value.
  • Work closely with marketing and sales to ensure data is usable and actionable.

You will also have ownership of Salesforce from a data perspective, including:

  • Managing data integrity, user access and structure.
  • Supporting basic configuration and improvements.
  • Working with external partners where deeper technical work is required.

What We Are Looking For

This role suits someone who enjoys fixing broken data environments.

You are likely to have:

  • Experience cleaning, structuring and improving messy CRM or marketing data.
  • Strong understanding of data quality, duplication, taxonomy and governance.
  • Hands-on experience working with large datasets using Excel, queries or similar tools.
  • Salesforce experience at an admin or advanced user level.
  • Confidence working with non-technical stakeholders and pushing back when needed.

You do not need to be a developer or a Marketing Cloud expert.

What matters is your ability to:

  • Understand data at a contact level.
  • Identify problems quickly.
  • Put structure and discipline in place.
  • Improve how data is actually used by the business.

Why This Role

  • Join a business where data is central to revenue generation.
  • Take ownership of a messy environment and build it properly from the ground up.
  • Work directly with leadership and influence how data is used commercially.
  • Broad exposure across marketing, sales and operations.
  • Real ownership in a business that is still evolving and scaling.

This role is ideal for someone who has previously walked into a messy data environment and improved it, and wants the opportunity to do that again with full ownership.

If that sounds like you, apply now.
