The Role
Our client is looking for an Operations Manager to lead operational activities across customer service, warehousing, and fulfilment. This individual will play a key role in ensuring smooth daily operations, developing staff, driving efficiency through systems such as Odoo ERP, and helping the business achieve its monthly targets. Success in this position will come from strong big-picture thinking, the ability to prioritize effectively, and a deep understanding of how fulfilment, customer service, and sales performance work together to support growth.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations across customer service, warehouse, and fulfilment teams
- Develop schedules and allocate resources to support operational efficiency
- Ensure all customer service issues are resolved in a timely and professional manner
- Monitor warehouse performance and maintain smooth operational flow
- Lead, train, coach, and develop team members
- Utilize Odoo ERP to support inventory, order management, and operational reporting
- Track key performance indicators and drive achievement of monthly targets
- Identify process improvement opportunities and implement operational best practices
- Manage internal communications and ensure prompt response to operational emails
- Collaborate with leadership to support sales growth and business objectives
Requirements
- 5+ years of operations management experience within manufacturing, distribution, retail, or e-commerce environments
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, fulfilment, and customer service
- Experience working with ERP systems, preferably Odoo
- Oversee Shopify orders
- Proven leadership and staff development capabilities
- Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on operational execution
- Experience managing performance metrics and achieving business targets
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
