Project Manager – Renewable Energy Microgrid Project
Location: Wasco, CA (On-Site)
Project Begins: March 2026
Duration: Approximately 12–15 months
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the full construction phase of a large-scale renewable energy and microgrid installation at an agricultural processing facility. The project will integrate solar PV, natural gas generation, battery energy storage, and microgrid control systems to enhance energy reliability and efficiency.
Scope Includes:

Solar PV – 3 MW total (2 MW ground mount, 1 MW shade structures)

Natural Gas Generation – Four 1.2 MW gensets

Battery Energy Storage – Tesla MP2XL system
- Microgrid Switchgear & Controls
- Supporting civil, mechanical/plumbing, structural, and electrical work, including grading, access roads, and natural gas piping.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the onsite execution of all construction activities from mobilization through commissioning.
- Oversee subcontractors and ensure adherence to safety, quality, budget, and schedule requirements.
- Coordinate across disciplines (civil, mechanical, electrical, structural) to ensure seamless integration of all project components.
- Review and approve project schedules, change orders, and progress reports.
- Maintain close communication with project stakeholders, providing regular updates on progress, risks, and mitigations.
- Ensure all work complies with applicable codes, standards, and environmental requirements.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of construction management experience, with a strong track record in renewable energy, power generation, or microgrid projects.
- Proven ability to manage multi-discipline construction projects with complex electrical and mechanical scopes.
- Experience with utility-scale solar, battery storage, and/or natural gas generation preferred.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work on-site in Wasco, CA for the full project duration.
