Senior Clinical Lead, Stoke-On-Trent, Staffordshire

Salary to circa £60,000 per annum + bens


Experts2care are looking for a Senior Clinical Lead for a caring nursing home in the Stoke on Trent area. This is a great opportunity for a clinically experienced manager looking for a new challenge. You might be a Home Manager, Deputy Manager or Clinical Lead looking for something different. There is also the opportunity for the right person to progress into a Home Manager role in the long-term.

What you'll do: You'll participate in clinical auditing to ensure clinical compliance and processes are effective, including being the dedicated medication champion for the site.  Lead on safeguardings, accidents and incidents.. Training, mentoring and coaching members of staff via both on the job and formal training. Working closely with the Unit Managers with regards to clinical practice, clinical auditing, including medication audits etc. Mentoring and guiding the UM’s and RN’s across site. You'll take overall responsibility for the rostering system to ensure the home is staffed safely and appropriately. Participating in the on-call rota


What you'll bring: Possess Diploma/qualification in Nursing and Registration with NMC and hold a valid PIN number, Demonstrate knowledge of social and health needs for complex care residents, Understanding of person centred approaches, Demonstrate dignity and respect and have a full understanding of adult safeguarding, Understanding of Health and Safety in a clinical setting, Ability to work on own initiative and manage and lead a team. To be an inspirational leader with the ability to train, coach and mentor staff, Demonstrate the importance of team work, Excellent verbal and written communication skills, Supportive, confident and resilient, Honest, reliable and trustworthy, Experience of effectively leading and managing a team and handling of staff issues, Commitment to adhere to all company policies and procedures, Ability to work flexibly in accordance with the role, DBS clearance, Renewal of PIN
