BUSINESS MANAGER – DENTAL PRACTICE

POSITION: Business Manager; Part-Time with potential to move Full-Time (3 days/week, 2 flexible and Fridays mandatory)

LOCATION: Irvine, CA; On-Site

REPORTS TO: Practice Leadership

Redeployment was created to match great people with great Life Science and Healthcare companies! We have been engaged to identify a Business Manager to oversee business, operational, and marketing functions for a dental practice in Orange County.

This role combines oversight of business operations (finance, marketing, and practice growth) with administrative support to ensure clinical and office activities run smoothly. The ideal candidate is organized, data-driven, and motivated by improving efficiency, expanding patient recruitment, and strengthening profitability.

Initially, this will be a part-time role (3 days per week, 2 flexible and mandatory Friday) with the opportunity to expand into a full-time position depending on practice needs and individual performance.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Partner with the current Office Manager to enhance efficiency and growth strategies

- Run and analyze practice reports to support data-driven decision-making

- Develop and implement marketing initiatives to attract new patients

- Collaborate with external partners (website, SEO/SEM, marketing) to improve digital branding and patient recruitment

- Assist with daily office operations; ensure administrative tasks are executed effectively

- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement new initiatives

- Manage billing, accounting, and financial activities to maximize profitability

- Ensure compliance with standards and verify staff provide high-quality patient care

- Supervise vendor relationships and confirm external partners deliver on commitments

- Foster a collaborative and positive team culture

- Track marketing ROI; refine strategies to achieve patient growth goals

- Support business development through community outreach, referrals, and digital campaigns

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

Required:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Accounting, STEM, or related field

- 3+ years of experience within a small business/clinic

- Proficiency in Excel, data analysis, and business technology tools

- Organized, detail-oriented, and logical thinker

- Familiarity with social media and SEO/SEM for business use

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Creative mindset with ability to implement new ideas

Preferred:

- Management or supervisory experience in a small to mid-sized business (12–50 employees) with service and profitability goals

- Experience in healthcare, dental, or other patient-facing environments (preferred, not required)

COMPENSATION:

- $35/hour starting rate, with increase to $40/hour after three months based on performance

- Bonus opportunities available following three-month review
