Meet Canyon Hills Community Church

Canyon Hills Community Church was planted in 1995 by founding pastor, Steve Walker, and his wife, Tammi. The church started out meeting in Canyon Park Junior High, but it wasn’t long before the church outgrew the school and moved to their current location in Canyon Park. Guided by its mission “to make more and better disciples of Jesus Christ,” Canyon Hills Community Church is grounded in Scripture and committed to strong biblical teaching, discipleship, and outreach.

Canyon Hills Community Church desires to worship and make famous the name of the one and only true God. The church strives to meet the needs of people in its local community and in more than 25 countries worldwide through five weekly worship services, a community food bank, ministries serving widows and single mothers, the Canyon Hills School of Discipleship, benevolence programs, a biblical counseling center, and global outreach partnerships.
