Meet Grace Community Church

Grace Community Church began in 1951. It started from a Billy Graham Crusade and a community and fellowship formed following that movement. Progressing through significant events like the church’s name change in 1996 and the construction of the Family Life Center in 1999. Following Pastor Jesus Bradley’s leadership from 2015, the church has focused on spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ and making disciples, expanding its reach both locally and globally. The church also became debt-free in 2019, which enabled it to further its commitment to international partnerships and outreach.


About the Executive Pastor

The Executive Pastor will serve as the strategic partner to Senior Pastor Jesse Bradley, translating the church’s vision into action through effective leadership and organizational alignment. While Jesse brings a dynamic vision as the Senior Pastor, the Executive Pastor will ensure that this vision is lived out across every ministry. This role centers on building collaboration between departments, leading strategic planning, evaluating ministry effectiveness, supporting staff development, and holding teams accountable, all with a heart to see lives transformed by the gospel. The ideal candidate is a leader who thrives in both people development and operational excellence, bringing spiritual maturity, organizational wisdom, and a deep commitment to advancing the mission of God through a healthy, unified, and effective church body.

The Executive Pastor‘s responsibilities include:

Church Leadership & Pastoral Ministry

  • Serve as an Elder and a member of the Executive Team.
  • Model the heart of a shepherd, working with the Senior Pastor to ensure that the flock is well led, cared for, and protected (1 Peter 5:1-3; 1 Corinthians 2:1-5; John 21:17).
  • Provide general pastoring/shepherding within the church family, though limited by gifting and the priority of primary responsibilities. Shepherding duties may include pastoral counseling, conducting baptisms, leading communion, worship service announcements, congregational care, occasional preaching duties, weddings and
  • funerals, etc.

Staff Oversight and Development

  • Staff Leadership & Development – Lead and mentor ministry, administrative, and facilities staff, ensuring alignment with annual goals, and provide training, professional development, and support for pastors, directors, staff, and volunteers.
  • Strategic Planning & Alignment – Facilitate annual strategic planning, review mission/vision/values, set measurable short- and long-term goals, and ensure departmental plans reflect overall church priorities.
  • Operations & Systems – Oversee budgets, policies, procedures, and infrastructure to improve effectiveness and efficiency, ensuring staffing, facilities, and ministries are aligned with strategic goals.
  • Ministry Oversight – Provide leadership for all church ministries and operations (except Worship/Arts, Tech, and outreach), conduct staff meetings with the Senior Pastor, and coordinate ministry activities and events.
  • Collaboration & Communication – Establish processes that unify staff around a common purpose, foster healthy culture, and encourage clear communication and collaboration across departments.
  • Evaluation & Improvement – Monitor ministry effectiveness, review policies, and assess congregational needs through research and evaluation, making adjustments to strengthen church impact.

What you bring

Education and Experience

  • Minimum of 10 years of pastoral experience, with three or more years in a pastoral leadership role and/or a business management role. Undergraduate degree, required
  • Seminary degree, preferred
