Meet C12

C12 Group is the largest peer-advisory organization for Christian CEOs and business owners in the world. Founded in 1992 in the Tampa Bay area by Buck Jacobs, C12 was created to bridge the gap between high-level business strategy and spiritual depth—establishing an environment that offers rigorous business value integrated with authentic faith. Today, C12 is a global movement of 260 professional Chairs leading over 5,000 CEO members across 700 peer forums in 38 U.S. states and 9 nations.

C12 operates on the conviction that faith and daily work were never meant to be separated—a core philosophy known as Business as a Ministry (BaaM). C12 equips marketplace leaders to build great businesses for a greater purpose, guiding executives from Success to Significance. The model’s proven sustainability is evidenced by an average Chair tenure of 17 years and an average CEO member tenure of 6 years. 95% of member CEOs report implementing a C12 business idea within 12 months, and 50% attribute direct financial improvement to their forum counsel.

About the Principal Chair

A C12 Principal Chair owns and operates an exclusive geographical territory as a franchise business ("a business within a business"). Operating in high-density growth markets across California—such as San Francisco, Silicon Valley / San Jose, and Los Angeles—the Principal Chair serves as both an executive facilitator for local CEOs and an entrepreneur building a regional practice.

The Principal Chair's responsibilities include:

Forum Leader & Executive Facilitator

  • Gather and lead 3 to 5 forums of ~12 Christian CEOs and business owners meeting one full day per month; Facilitate MBA-level curriculum, encouraging peer-to-peer counsel, strategic planning, and spiritual growth.
  • Conduct monthly 1-on-1 Focus60 coaching sessions with each member.

Territory Builder & Executive Recruiter (Sales & Growth)

  • Proactively network, prospect, and recruit Christian CEOs ($2M+ revenue, 10+ employees) to launch and sustain local forums.
  • Recruit, employ, and mentor Associate Chairs (ACs) to expand C12's presence across the market.
  • Build a recurring-revenue enterprise that serves as a sellable business asset.

Key Deliverables (First 12–18 Months)

  • Build, launch, and stabilize the territory's first CEO forum (10–12 members).
  • Establish financial self-sustainability within 3–12 months through monthly membership dues.

  • Identify and recruit prospective Associate Chairs to scale territory capacity.
