As we continue to grow and enhance our operations, we are seeking a Director of Food Operations to oversee and elevate our food service standards.


Job Description:

The Director of Food Operations will be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of kitchen operations across all units. This role demands a leader who can inspire a culture of excellence, maintain consistency across multiple locations, and drive innovative culinary practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of food service across all locations, ensuring quality and consistency in line with company standards.
  • Develop and implement operational procedures and quality control measures.
  • Manage menu development and ingredient sourcing, including seasonal menu changes and specials.
  • Train and mentor kitchen managers and staff in culinary skills, safety protocols, and cost-effective practices.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align culinary developments with promotional activities.
  • Monitor food and labor costs across all units, implementing strategies to optimize efficiency and profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all kitchen and food prep areas.
  • Analyze customer feedback and sales data to make informed operational adjustments.

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree in Hospitality, Culinary Arts, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a leadership role within the food service industry, preferably in a multi-unit fast casual or quick service restaurant environment.
  • Proven track record of improving food quality and consistency across multiple locations.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in using food service technology and software for inventory, costing, and sales analysis.
