Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day operations of Cardiac Catheterization, Electrophysiology, and Cardiac Rehabilitation departments, ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective care delivery.
- Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement strategic and operational objectives, focusing on continuous improvement and best practices.
- Analyze department performance data, budgets, and staffing reports; create action plans based on trends and variances.
- Assist in the development and management of operational and capital budgets, including monthly variance analysis and departmental scorecards.
- Attend leadership and management meetings; prepare detailed reports, correspondence, and documentation in a timely manner.
- Maintain systems for efficient information management, reporting, and performance tracking.
- Provide clinical and operational leadership, serving as a resource for staff and ensuring consistent delivery of patient-centered care.
- Recruit, train, and evaluate staff, fostering professional development while ensuring compliance with organizational standards.
- Conduct performance evaluations, address behavioral or performance issues, and implement corrective actions when necessary.
- Support accreditation readiness (HFAP, ODH), ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.
- Partner with Purchasing and HIM to manage equipment contracts, maintain competitive pricing, and optimize reimbursement processes.
- Stay current on ODH and ACC guidelines, reimbursement policies, and emerging technologies in cardiovascular care.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a clinical healthcare field (e.g., Cardiovascular Technology, Ultrasound, Exercise Physiology, Radiologic Technology, Respiratory Therapy, or Nursing).
- Current CPR and ACLS certifications required.
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of ODH and ACC guidelines.
- Proven ability to lead and manage multidisciplinary teams effectively.
