General Superintendent

Location: Greater Miami Area

Schedule: Full-time

Compensation: $275K – $300K per year

A leading construction firm is seeking an experienced General Superintendent to oversee multiple sites and projects, managing daily operations, schedules, budgets, and site teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Oversight: Manages the daily operations of large, often multiple, construction projects from start to finish.
• Team Management: Leads and coordinates construction crews, subcontractors, and site supervisors, ensuring work is completed according to project plans and deadlines.
• Safety & Quality: Enforces strict safety regulations and conducts site inspections to identify and mitigate risks, ensuring a secure work environment.
• Budget & Schedule: Monitors project progress to ensure tasks are completed on time, manages expenses, approves invoices, and keeps projects within budget.
• Resource Management: Oversees the setup and maintenance of site facilities and coordinates with suppliers and laborers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Problem-Solving: Addresses on-site issues, resolves conflicts quickly, and adapts plans to overcome unexpected delays or challenges.
• Communication: Acts as a liaison between project management, clients, and workers, providing regular progress updates and addressing concerns.
• Documentation: Maintains accurate records, including daily logs and inspection reports, for compliance and accountability

Qualifications:

• 20+ years of experience in the construction industry
• 20+ years of experience in commercial construction
• Proven history overseeing multiple, large-scale ground-up commercial projects
• Exceptional leadership, organizational, and communication skills
• Expert knowledge of construction safety standards, building codes, and quality control procedure
