School Psychologist
Compensation: $70K-$80K per year
Job Type: Full Time. Monday - Friday. Day shift.
Our client, a school dedicated to supporting children with disabilities, is seeking a School Psychologist for their Queens, NY location.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations and gather social and developmental histories for children ages 3-5.
- Prepare clear, comprehensive diagnostic and psychological reports.
- Provide evidence-based recommendations and collaborate with therapeutic teams to develop effective interventions.
- Participate in treatment planning, feedback sessions, and interdisciplinary team meetings.
- Foster positive communication among supervisors, employees, and families.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant government regulations and agency standards.
- Deliver group and individual counseling, as well as parent training, in accordance with students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Attend IEP conferences, annual reviews, and other required meetings.
Job Requirements:
- Certified School Psychologist
- Proficiency in the Behavior Assessment System for Children-3 (BASC-3)
