Our client is a well-established, locally owned WA business with over 30 years of experience supplying high-quality timber and manufacturing prefabricated frames and trusses.

They service a loyal customer base that includes Tier 1 and Tier 2 project builders, custom builders and owner builders. As WA’s residential construction sector transitions toward energy-efficient, prefabricated solutions, this business is at the forefront and poised for major growth.

Now, they’re looking for a Business Development Manager to lead key relationships, help drive market expansion and step into a more senior leadership role over time.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Manage and grow relationships with Tier 1 & Tier 2 builders
• Promote the operational and financial benefits of prefab solutions
• Spend 3 days a week in the field, 2 days in the office
• Identify market trends and uncover new business opportunities
• Collaborate with estimating, production and internal teams to deliver a seamless customer experience
• Bring back real insights to inform future sales strategy

What We’re Looking For:

• A proven track record with a minimum of 5 years in sales or account management.
• Industry knowledge in timber, frame & truss or building products is a big advantage.
• A consultative sales approach, solving problems and providing solutions for builders.
• Self-motivated with a proactive approach to managing accounts and pursuing new business.
• Proficient in CRM technology to track sales, manage relationships and drive results.
• A self-starter with leadership potential, ready to step up when the time’s right.
