About Langs Building Supplies

Langs is renowned for providing whole-of-house building materials—from timber and steel trusses to windows, doors and hardware. The two manufacturing sites are Yatala, or Caloundra providing an option on where to be based. Remote, applications will also be considered. You’ll be part of a quality team behind estimating, detailing and guaranteeing seamless project execution for builders across Queensland and beyond.

Position Overview:

Responsible for preparing accurate and efficient truss and frame designs using MiTek Software. This involves interpreting plans and drawings and ensuring all designs meet project specifications, structural requirements and company standards.

What We’re Looking For to succeed in this role, you’ll need:

• 5 + years in manufacturing or construction, with a strong background in frame and truss.
• Competence in MiTek Software packages, (20/20 – Sapphire) or equivalent.
• Understanding or structural and architectural principles related to timber framing.
• Experience reading and interpreting technical drawings, specifications and relevant building codes.
• Resilience and Organisation: Capable of managing competing priorities during peak workloads, maintaining a calm and organised approach.
