Job Title: Electrical Services Engineer

Schedule: 1st Shift, 8:00am – 5:00pm

Work Arrangement: Possible 100% Remote, with travel as needed (must live near an airport) (30-40%)

Job Type: Long-term contract with comprehensive benefits package

Hourly Pay Range: $40-50/hr and OT Elibible


Summary

We are seeking an experienced Service Engineer to provide technical diagnosis, troubleshooting, and onsite support for residential home charging and energy distribution/storage systems. This role plays a key part in delivering high-quality field service, supporting customers, and ensuring product reliability through direct engagement, training, and feedback.


Key Responsibilities

Technical Diagnosis & Troubleshooting

  • Perform onsite troubleshooting and analysis of customer cases involving installation, commissioning, and functionality of home charging and energy systems.
  • Provide resolution guidance to technical advisors, installers, and customers during site visits.
  • Utilize required tools to conduct accurate diagnosis and repair activities.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction throughout the resolution process.


Communication, Training & Feedback

  • Coordinate onsite support with customer care and operations teams.
  • Collaborate with technical advisors and warranty teams to support product returns.
  • Document findings, prepare reports, and maintain compliance with deliverables.
  • Train fellow field service engineers and support the creation of technical training materials.
  • Provide feedback to drive improvements in products, processes, and overall customer experience.


Work Environment & Team

  • Highly collaborative, with frequent interaction across hardware, software, and field teams.
  • Work split across office, laboratory testing, and residential customer sites.
  • Daily team meetings to align on support needs; weekly cross-functional meetings.
  • Exposure to brand-new energy storage and production technologies.



Experience: 8+ years in electrical/electronic work; journeyman-level background preferred.


Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field preferred; HSD or equivalent accepted.
